Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, authentication method, and account preferences. We collect music, track settings, and sharing activity that you choose to add. Invited lesson-beta users also provide lesson material and practice-session activity.

If you create a track from YouTube, we collect the URL you submit, available video metadata, your rights confirmation, and the audio retrieved from that source. We store the source audio and the processed vocal and accompaniment files in your private library.

We also collect device, browser, log, security, and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. Our payment provider processes payment-card details. Ragafied receives transaction, subscription, and billing status information rather than full card details.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, retrieve audio from a YouTube URL at your request, process audio, play and share tracks, manage memberships, deliver service messages, prevent abuse, support users, analyze product performance, and comply with law.

Microphone and pitch comparison

The track player requests microphone permission when you enable pitch comparison. It analyzes microphone audio in your browser to draw your pitch. The current track player does not upload or save an audio recording of your singing. You can turn off the microphone or revoke browser permission and continue using playback.

Lesson-beta practice sessions can store practice duration, repetitions, and progress. Before enabling student homework or grading that collects additional data, we will describe what is collected and who can see it.

Matching recordings

We compute a file fingerprint and normalize YouTube source links to recognize recordings already processed. When another member independently adds the same source, Ragafied can reuse existing audio files, stems, and analysis. Each member still has a separate Library entry; this matching does not expose account details, private titles, lesson instructions, or private edits to the other member.

Deleting your track removes your Library entry and its access links. Shared storage files can remain while another independently imported track or lesson still uses them. A removal request involving the source recording itself is handled separately through our copyright and privacy contacts.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that host data, process audio, deliver email, provide authentication, process payments, monitor reliability, or support customer requests. We may share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction.

When you share a track, its title, owner identity as displayed in the product, and playable audio may be available to eligible signed-in members who have the link. A recipient can forward it. Revoke the link to stop future access.

Retention and security

We retain uploaded and retrieved source audio, source URLs, processed files, and related track information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why we hold it. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can update some account information and manage your membership in Ragafied. You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information by contacting privacy@ragafied.com. Your rights depend on where you live.

Children

Ragafied accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not offer accounts for minors at launch. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact our privacy address so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

International transfers and regional disclosures

LifeSage LLC operates Ragafied from the United States. Our application, audio processing, and primary storage run on Amazon Web Services in the US East (N. Virginia) region. We use Amazon SES for email, Google for optional sign-in, Cloudflare for domain services, and Stripe Managed Payments for payments. These providers may process information in other countries under their own service terms and privacy policies.
